That's that then...
For the first time in (in a while) I’m back with therapist sessions. Right now I think it’s necessary. To be honest I’m a bit of a mess.
In the meantime Tumblr has become the place I post those nuggets of frustration (usually directed at myself) to vent.
I’ll just break it up with some music and then people won’t get pissed off.

Today
I feel like so many kinds of crap. This time last week I was on the verge of being very, very ill. This week I already feel ill.
Better hoover up my room. It’s probably making me sick or something.
Dunno why I’m bothering to type this but, you know, why not.

El Camino
God damn that is a late entry for one of the albums of the year.
The Black Keys have pulled out a superb collection of songs.
Many people have said they fill the gap The White Stripes left.
My personal opinion is that they are better than the Stripes, and can put together a more cohesive and consistent album.
Now if you will excuse me, I’m going to listen to it again…

Week One
Back at University for a week (well five days but who’s counting (apparently me)) and so far:
I’ve started shopping at a shop named Barkat as it is pretty damn cheap and has a butcher’s inside it. Due to a mistake by one of my mates when directing us to it, we now call it Obama’s.
I nearly bought a dartboard, but didn’t.

Got a chance to interview CSS
Yes it’s only by e-mail. But still. Pretty cool. Well I’m excited, at least.
Should probably give the new album a listen before I do.
Enjoyed the first album. It was a fun bit of electro indie that was best used as party music.
It was also a bit mental, but that was the charm of it.

The Remaining Plan
I wrote this a month ago and never posted it:
Before I return to Uni the following is on the schedule:
Finish an E.P. with two mates. (Couple of songs to go.)
Celebrate one year with “the Missus.” (Not made plans yet.)
Finish a 20 page script and redraft. (Last couple of scenes now.)

Three Days
I have three days left before myself and my two mates, Rob and Dan, finish the Summer’s musical experiments. Didn’t think we would have an E.P. done by the end of it. Just putting it all together now.
I have spent the Summer writing too, with writing and film-making still first in my heart. But music comes a close second and even if this E.P. gets done and left on the shelf, at least...

…we’ve all gone a bit mad in this attic. Can’t even crack a window because then it would be raining indoors.

The E.P.
So far we have four songs in a really good place for an E.P we have been working on all summer. It’s been fun. It is not some ground-breaking song writing. As it stands it is on course for being enjoyable indie with folk and punk influences. Quite light. Not terrible. Not confident enough to call it good either though.
